LST | via PR Newswire | Swedish House Mafia announces North American residency at Wynn Las Vegas | LAS VEGAS — Swedish House Mafia is a supergroup in the world of electronic music. They have just announced that they would be doing their first-ever residency in North American nightlife with Wynn Nightlife at the world-famous Encore Beach Club and XS Nightclub located inside Wynn Las Vegas. The three Swedish DJs known as Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Axel “Axwell” Hedfors will begin performing their Grammy-nominated music at the one-of-a-kind nightlife venue on August 20, and they will continue to do so for the next two years.

“We love going from arenas to clubs, from huge epic raves to intimate club shows and then back into the arena,” said Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia. “That balance is really important to us and our fans. We’re happy to bring this balance to Vegas with Wynn.”

Encore Beach Club and XS Nightclub will increase its audio-visual production to provide guests with an experience that is more immersive and fascinating as a compliment to the powerhouse performances that will be given by Swedish House Mafia. Each location will have a stage that has been designed specifically for it and will have handpicked LED displays, pyrotechnics, cryogenics, and other elements.

“This residency is something special and is a testament to Wynn Nightlife’s commitment to offering best-in-class entertainment,” said Ryan Jones, assistant vice president of Wynn Nightlife. “We’re excited to partner with Swedish House Mafia and give their fanbase an opportunity to see them perform in a more intimate nightclub setting.”

The performers, who have been nominated for both the Grammy Award and a multi-platinum award, are widely regarded as the forefathers of the electronic music scene. They have a catalogue of chart-topping anthemic hits, some of which include “Don’t You Worry Child,” “One,” and “Save The World.” Swedish House Mafia have reemerged on the music world with new songs, a new global tour, and a new nightlife residency. This comes after the group completed a farewell tour and took a break from the music business. The most recent album released by the illustrious group, titled “Paradise Again,” made its debut in April 2022 and debuted at No. 1 on the Top Dance/Electronic Album Chart on Billboard.

At this time, Swedish House Mafia is slated to perform at XS Nightclub on two separate occasions in 2022: on August 20 and September 3. The announcement of the show dates for 2023 will take place in the future.
