LST | via PR Newswire | John Westbay’s Gallery 23 Shows ‘Heart of the City’ LOVE&WAR Streetwear Debut | NEW YORK — The celebrated Gallery 23 in New York City’s meatpacking area will play host to the opening of John Westbay’s second solo exhibition, which will be themed “Heart of the City.” The exhibit will begin on July 21 and run for a total of three weeks. It will feature twenty unique works in a variety of mediums that have been put on canvas or wood panels. Westbay, who is intrinsically known for his artistic application of the word “Love,” will also be debuting a partnership streetwear collection titled “LOVE & WAR” in collaboration with John Scafiddi, the owner, and creative director of the brand At War.

This collection will be designed by Westbay in conjunction with At War. The two designers have collaborated to produce a line of clothing called passion, which bridges the gap between urban fantasy and urban reality by mixing color with culture, creativity with pride, and, more generally, a passion for the things they create. Together, they are launching with an opening reception that will feature music provided by DJ Nick Russo, tattoo artistry provided by John Lemon from Bound for Glory and Zack Bryson from Historic Custom Tattoo, and a drink partnership with Evil Twin Brewing Company that will feature their “Love Potion #9.” The exhibit will be open for viewing during regular gallery hours through the 11th of August.

Exhibit: July 21 – August 11th 2022; Gallery 23 NY, 34 Little W 12th St, New York, NY 10014
