Here I have made use of Soya chunks. I have soaked the soya chunks in hot water for half an hour then drained it and washed it once more. Then I have roughly chopped it into small fine pieces. When ever you use soya chunks it is very important to soak it in boiled water and then clean it. You might have seen when you bring soya chunks from market, it will be very hard and cannot be used as such. To convert it into usable form, soak it in boiled water, and then clean it twice or thrice in cold water, squeeze it nicely. Then you will find that it forms a sponge consistency. This is the stage when you can use the chunks. Mix it with mashed potatoes, green chillies and the other ingredients, roll it over egg and then on the oats and then shallow fry it in oil.
