|Cooked moong dal||1 cup|
|Boiled potatoes (medium)||2 -3|
|Ginger (grated)||1 piece|
|Mustard seeds||1 teaspoon|
|Methi seeds / Fenugreek seeds||1/2 teaspoon|
|Turmeric powder||1/2 teaspoon|
|Oil / Ghee||1/2 tablespoon|
1. Heat oil in a pan. Add the seasonings, tomatoes, greenchillies, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves and fry on medium heat till the oil separates.
2. Add the boiled potatoes, cooked dal and boil it for another 5 -7 minutes.
3. If you feel that water is less, then add water to dilute.
4. Serve it hot with rice, roti, poori or chapatti.
