|maida / all purpose flour||1 cup|
|Sugar||1 1/2 cup|
|ghee||1 1/2 cup|
|cardamom powder||1/2 teaspoon|
|food color||1/8 teaspoon|
|corn flour||1 tablespoon|
|cashew and almonds||few|
2. In a heavy bottomed pan, add sugar and 1/2 cup of water. Let the sugar dissolve in water, boil it and bring it to one string consistency.
3. Once sugar syrup reaches one string consistency, add in maida mixture and stir nicely and vigorously.
4. Now add ghee in intervals and stir continuously until mixture leaves the sides. Add cardamom powder and roasted cashew and almonds. Mix well
5. Transfer the contents to a greased tray. Wait till it cools and then cut into desired shapes.
