Kadachakka curry is a curry which is normally prepared in kerala as a sidedish for rice. This is a nice tasty curry though it involves a little bit of work in roasting the coconut, grinding it and so on. I always make this curry atleast once during every season. Now to the recipe..
|breadfruit /kadachakka||1/2 kg|
|turmeric powder||1/4 teaspoon|
|coconut bits||3 – 4 tablespoon|
|to roast and grind|
|coconut (grated)||1/2 cup|
|fennel seeds||1 teaspoon|
|chilli powder||1teaspoon (or more depending on your spice level)|
|coriander powder||3 teaspoon|
|cardamom / elakka||1|
|dry red chilly||2|
1. Remove the skin from the breadfruit, cut them into quarters and remove the midrib. Cut them into small pieces and keep it aside.
