Ingredients
  • milk - 1 cup
  • water - ½ cup
  • tea powder - 2 teaspoons
  • ginger - 1-inch piece
  • cardamom - 1 - 2 crushed, with skin
  • sugar - 1 and ½ teaspoons or to taste
Method
  1. Wash, scrub ginger root, peel the skin.
  2. Chop into pieces and crush them.
  3. Bring water to a boil with crushed ginger, crushed cardamom. Reduce the flame and boil for 4 - 5 minutes.
  4. Add sugar, tea powder, and boil for 2 - 3 minutes.
  5. Turn off the flame.
  6. Add milk, boil in low flame for 2 - 3 minutes.
  7. Strain the tea through a strainer right into serving cups or glasses.
  8. Serve ginger tea hot.
